Certainly Dresden Files is full of stereotypes, but I mostly don't care at all. The story grabs me and We're Off!!

Sorry to hear about Uprooted! I really enjoyed that one, in audiobook version. Couldn't put it down. Very much looking forward to re-reading it.

I'm really not looking forward to picking up Seveneves again. I've loved other Stephenson works, but I tried Seveneves twice already (before noms were in) and kept putting it down.

Listening to the Jemisin now.

Have you already read all 5 novel nominees?ciaracathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12314237117499417274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1679440735100620164.post-57021544214212695332016-06-01T21:20:27.914-05:002016-06-01T21:20:27.914-05:00I just finished listening to The Aeronaut's Wi...I just finished listening to The Aeronaut's Windlass. The stereotypes didn't bother me a huge amount and there's a scene of Bridget later on that I really liked. However, the book never wowed me. I'm probably going to place it above No Award but below everything else. (This surprises me a bit because I had a really hard time with Uprooted and I was expecting to place the Butcher novel above it.)Gem Stone-Loganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04564911157820161513noreply@blogger.com
